Mothers of Children with Cystic Fibrosis

As recently as 50 years ago, a child born with Cystic Fibrosis was unlikely to live long enough to attend elementary school.

While recent advancements in research and treatment have extended the lives of the 30,000 Americans born with this devastating disease, every day remains a struggle for them, and for their caretakers.

In this video, four mothers of children with Cystic Fibrosis relate the challenges they and their children face on a daily basis, the ever-present anxiety they live with, and the their hope that stem cell research will one day lead to a cure.

Featuring: Siri Vaeth-Dunn, Ann Robinson, Kristie Dobson, Sydney Altano, Carroll Jenkins.
